Overnight Vision Correction is the gentle, temporary re-shaping of the cornea by sleeping overnight in a contact lens.

You place the lenses on your eyes just before you sleep and remove them in the morning when you wake up to give fully corrected vision throughout the day.

This treatment is particularly suitable for people with active lifestyles. Imagine swimming with no glasses or contact lenses and being able to see perfectly. Playing football or rugby without worrying about losing your contact lenses. Cycling in the rain without constantly cleaning your glasses.

It currently only works with short sighted patients NOT long sighted. A great alternative to laser surgery for those who don’t want the risk. The great thing is it’s totally reversible.

But the biggest benefit of Overnight Vision Correction is that it significantly reduces, by up to 60%, the progression of Myopia (shortsightedness) in children. This is of huge significance for Myopic parents who worry about their children also becoming short sighted.

The latest addition to Myopia management contact lenses for children is the ‘MiSight’ daily disposable soft contact lens specifically designed to reduce the progression of Myopia in children.

This lens is intended to be worn for a minimum of 10 hours per day for at least 6 days a week to be effective in controlling myopia progression.

This lens has also shown in trails to reduce myopia progression by 60% if worn as recommended.
